As we reflect on on this month in 2018, The Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS) has released the fourth addition of Safety and Security Guidelines for k-12 schools. The guidelines provide a layered and tiered approach for securing and improving the safety of schools.
Guy Grace Jr., who is the PASS chairman and Director of Security and Emergence Planning for Littleton Public Schools said when announcing the new PASS standards, “We are proud to build on the PASS guidelines, which present the most comprehensive information available on best practices for securing school facilities, an essential component supporting, an all-hazards approach to school safety.”
